Overview
This one day course is aimed at employees with a designated fire safety role in the workplace under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It equips the delegates with the necessary knowledge and skills to adequately undertake their roles and responsibilities as Fire Wardens / Marshals. Delegates gain practical experience of undertaking the fire warden checks (day-to-day duties) and the actions to be taken during an evacuation. In addition
delegates get hands on experiences of operating portable fire extinguishers to attack small fires.
Who should attend
This course is aimed at existing employees to help them identify and reduce the risks from fire in the workplace.
The material is suitable for delegates with no experience in Fire Safety.

- Identifying common fire hazards
- Evacuation and human behaviour
- Walk-around – hazard spotting exercise
- Fire extinguishers including practical exercise
