We’re Hiring! Part-Time Office Administrator & Training Coordinator

Ardent Safety | Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

Hours: Part-time, flexible over 2–3 days per week
Location: Barrow-in-Furness

About Ardent Safety

Ardent Safety is a health and safety training and consultancy company, helping businesses create safer working environments through professional training, practical advice and expert support.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and friendly Office Administrator & Training Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, communicating with customers and helping to coordinate training courses.

The Role

Working closely with the team, you’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the office and the coordination of our health and safety training courses.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general office administration and keeping records and paperwork up to date.
  • Coordinating training courses, including booking delegates, arranging dates and maintaining training schedules.
  • Liaising with customers, trainers and suppliers by phone and email.
  • Sending course confirmations, joining instructions and relevant training documentation.
  • Preparing certificates, maintaining training records and updating databases.
  • Responding to customer enquiries and providing a professional, helpful service.
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email and computer-based systems.
  • Able to manage their workload, prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Friendly, reliable and professional, with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in office administration, training coordination or customer service would be an advantage. Experience in health and safety or training administration would be beneficial, but is not essential, as the right attitude and organisational skills are just as important.

What We Offer

  • Flexible part-time hours, spread over 2–3 days per week.
  • A varied role within a friendly, professional and supportive team.
  • The opportunity to contribute to a growing health and safety training and consultancy business.
  • A role where organisation, initiative and a great customer experience really matter.
