Pneumatics and Hydraulics

We are pleased to be offering Pneumatics and Hydraulics training here at Ardent Safety, Cumbria.

The BFPA vocational and Level 1 courses in hydraulics and pneumatics are for anyone working with fluid power systems, from apprentices and maintenance teams to those looking to upskill. These courses combine essential theory with practical, hands-on training, covering system basics, safety, component identification, and troubleshooting.

They’re designed to build confidence and competence, whether you’re starting out or formalising existing knowledge. Below you will find the course options available and their corresponding information document.

Pneumatics

Option 1: Level 1 Vocational Training - 3-day training course.

Training is invoiced at £1675.00 + vat per day x 3-day training course would be £5025.00

In our experience, training is best delivered in groups of 4 delegates due to the practicals involved. However we have in the past accommodated up to a maximum of 6 delegates per course but this would attract an additional cost of £150.00 per day per delegate.

Option 2: Level 1 Competence Training (Qualification) 5-day training course.

Training is invoiced at £1675.00 + vat per day x 5-day training course would be £8375.00

Due to the complexity of the training course and that there are both practical exercises and a 2-hour test (exam paper) then the numbers must not exceed 4 delegates.
